In 1996, Vineet Jain founded RACE (Rapid Action in Car Emergency) to provide on-road assistance to stranded vehicles. Despite limited technology, Vineet's dedication made RACE a success, expanding to 30 cities and serving 1.5 million customers with over 1 million rescues by 2010.

During these rescues, Vineet saw many lives at risk due to unreliable emergency services. In one case, a friend faced a critical emergency and received no response after calling 100. These experiences motivated Vineet to extend his rescue efforts to save human lives, leading to the creation of Rakkshak.

One year later, Watch Over You evolved into something bigger and better. Vineet and Sumit realized the need for a comprehensive solution to help various people in emergency situations. This led to the creation of Rakkshak, a full-fledged emergency response service designed to provide comprehensive assistance to anyone in a medical emergency.

To stay true to their vision and mission of making the world a healthier and safer place, Rakkshak evolved and launched three new services:

• RESC-U: Developed to provide reliable and timely emergency assistance (Police and Medical) , ensuring that help is always available when needed the most.
• RxPRESS: Designed to make medical tests and screenings accessible to everyone, no matter where they are.
• Health Rakkshak: Created to offer affordable healthcare solutions, addressing the rising costs of medical treatment and ensuring quality care for all.
